Album design and photography for Jefferson Berry & The UAC

The dichotomy between the “pause” and “play” of the front and back cover references the fact that this album was made during Covid. The musicians found solace in the simple act of creating each day.

The camcorder design references a feeling of nostalgia about a place or time. The buildings on the back harken to the feeling of quarantine while the birds frozen in flight reflect a desire for spontaneity and motion. The coloring of the album’s skies drew from the warm pastel notes and tones in the song Cloudy Day Daydream, setting the scene for the album’s coastal folk feeling.
