Brand strategy, logo, typography, color scheme, brand guide, business cards, email signature, client report and invoice design, LinkedIn banner, bio, portrait photography, and press kit for Language Strategist Dana Ray

Dana Ray is a language strategist for leaders across diverse fields including global health, fashion, design, dance, art, photography, theater, and activism. She helps to define and align internal and external messaging for her clients.

Dana facilitates workshops and keynotes for corporations and cultural heads on resilience through the power of precise language and expansive storytelling. She was a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Bulgaria and holds a Master's in Literature and Creative Writing from Bucknell University. She continues to work in Washington, D.C. and internationally.

The font, News Gothic MT Standard, designed in 1908 by Morris Fuller Benton, was first used in the journalism industry for headlines that proclaim truth. Its bold and condensed faces give the impression of bodies holding themselves upright, poised for movement. Capitalized letters are used in Dana’s logo to convey strength and elegance.

The black, white, and deep wine colors communicate a striking and rooted sense of a powerful female voice.

Beginning with a bold font for the word Dana and moving to a lighter corps for the word Ray reflects the concept of Dana’s work: distilling ideas into their clearest, most essential form.
